A novel approach

Agility and risk management beyond the Spiral V-model.

Finis Terrae adopts an iterative, risk-driven development approach to reduce the implementation time of complex aerospace projects without compromising reliability.

Instead of relying only on a traditional waterfall process, each development loop is used to define objectives, evaluate alternatives, identify risks, prototype critical elements and validate the next level of product maturity.

This mindset allows engineering, testing and decision-making to move forward together: risks are addressed early, critical technologies are matured progressively and product readiness grows through controlled iterations.

Finis Terrae spiral development approach diagram
01 Risk-driven cycles

Critical risks are identified and resolved early, before they propagate into later development phases.

02 Fast prototyping

Prototypes, models and simulations support short feedback loops and faster technical convergence.

03 Progressive maturity

Each spiral increases the maturity of requirements, design, verification and product readiness.

Environment

Technology can do more for the environment.

Low Earth Orbits are precious, but they also are a fragile environment, cluttered by debris and depleted spacecrafts. Finis Terrae technology can help stop LEO degradation and contribute to clean our homeland backyard.
